Validation exposes trade-offs; it does not erase them
A valid file is not automatically a readable subtitle track. Timing, line length, reading speed, language, and delivery target still need human review.
- SRT and WebVTT escaping and timestamp syntax are generated from structured cues.
- CPS and CPL warnings identify likely reading problems without pretending one threshold fits every language.
- CJK, emoji, right-to-left text, and overlapping speech require a visual pass in the destination player.
- Exported cues remain tied to the selected transcript revision so later edits do not silently change an old delivery.
